ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — Disneyland Resort in Anaheim said its Tiana’s Bayou Adventure reopened after a 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle and slid down the attraction’s final 50-foot drop on Sunday, June 21, prompting staff to stop the ride and send the boy to a hospital as a precaution.

A Disneyland spokesperson said a cast member immediately stopped the attraction after the boy got out of the vehicle. Disneyland said the guest was later discharged after evaluation.

The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health inspected the ride after the incident. Cal/OSHA spokesperson Katherine Wzorek told NBC News inspectors “did not find any operational issues.”

Disneyland kept the log-flume attraction closed for the rest of Sunday before reopening it after the review, leaving the ride back in service for visitors planning trips to the Southern California park.
