EL CAJON, Calif., June 6 (Jamul News) — Downtown El Cajon’s June 2026 summer-night entertainment calendar is anchored by two recurring series: Wednesday Cajon Cruise on Main Street and Friday Music on Main at Prescott Promenade, according to sandiego.org listings.

Music on Main is listed as a weekly Friday-night series running from June through August 2026 in downtown El Cajon. A sandiego.org event page gives the series dates as June 5 through Aug. 28 and places performances at Prescott Promenade.

The event listing describes Music on Main as an outdoor gathering built around live performances by local bands and musicians, along with food and social activity downtown. The available listing does not name specific bands or performers.

Cajon Cruise is listed separately as returning every Wednesday from May through August in Downtown El Cajon. A sandiego.org summer 2026 press-release page says the event, formerly known as Cajon Classic Cruise, brings vintage and contemporary cars to Main Street with live music and food.

The June calendar for the two confirmed downtown series includes Wednesdays for Cajon Cruise and Fridays for Music on Main. The listings do not provide artist lineups, vendor counts, attendance estimates or public-safety details.

Other June events with similar summer-night wording are not part of the confirmed downtown entertainment listings. USA Track & Field San Diego lists “Summer Nights 8” as a June 17 athletics meet at Cuyamaca College, 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway, and an Eventbrite listing titled “SUMMER NIGHTS IN SAN DIEGO” places that event at Queen Bee’s Art and Cultural Center in San Diego.
