WASHINGTON, July 12 (DC Times Online) — James Carville blasted far-left Democrats in a Friday Politicon video, warning that attacks from the party’s left flank could help produce a defeat like the one Democrats suffered in 2016, when Donald Trump won the presidency.

The Democratic strategist singled out Michigan candidate Abdul El-Sayed and said Democrats should not “fall for the allure of false prophets.” He argued that the problem was not shared evenly between the two parties, saying, “It’s not both parties’ faults!”

Carville also used blunt language to dismiss the activists he was criticizing. “These people are so f—ing stupid I don’t know what to say about it,” he said, adding, “You are part of the problem because you’re a f—ing idiot!”

He said their answer was to “beat Democrats like they’re part of the problem,” and framed the dispute as a warning about the party’s electoral direction.
